IELTS Speaking Test Part 1 ( Travel by Car ) Questions With Answers

Question 1:- Do you like to travel by car?

Answer- I like cars, and I think most people also like cars; I hope that the first car I will buy would be a Mercedes Benz.

Question 2:- When do you travel by car?

Answer- Travelling is fun for me, and I look forward to doing it more with my friends though I rarely travel, however when I do I like to travel by road, especially by car, there is no special reason why I prefer to travel by car, probably because there are fewer passengers unlike travelling in a bus. The middle of the year is always a good time for me to travel because by then, I would have saved enough to take care of my trip.

Question 3:- Where is the farthest place you have travelled by car?

Answer- I once had a bad experience when I travelled to Lagos from my state, which is about a 9 hours journey by road; this is the longest journey I have ever made, I had little cash on me, and because we arrived at our destination pretty late at night, I was stranded and couldn’t get a hotel to stay because of insufficient funds, my earlier arrangement was to stay at my friend’s house who lives like 40 minutes away from the bus terminal, that night I had to sleep at the terminal, it was a bad experience.

Question 4:- Do you like to sit in the back or front when travelling by car?

Answer- While travelling I like to sit at the back because we always have lots of stories to tell and also refreshments, that is if I am travelling with friends so while at the back I get to stretch when I am tired and need to sleep.
