Some People Think That the Government Should Strictly Control the Supply of Freshwater

Some people think that the government should strictly control the supply of freshwater, as the resources are limited, while others think we can use as much water as we want. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

In this modern era, the human’s wants are unlimited, but the resources available are limited. It’s human nature to demand the extra of that item whose supply is less. A coin has two sides, and one side believes that the officials should have a monopoly over the supply of fresh water, whereas the other side claims to use as much water as they want. I will discuss both viewpoints in the further crumb of writing below.

The most imperative fact that the water level is decreasing day by day, and its demand is increasing. Keeping in mind the logistics, the government has complete data about where the maximum of the water is. We do witness the dams, lakes, rivers that used to be full of water are now dried out, and the surfaces are too gross to look at. The officials provide their best support by cleaning them and maintaining a clean and safe environment. It is difficult for the government to control and restrict the usage of water per household has but the government do carry out specific times when they run the supply of freshwater into the houses. That time is controlled, and during that time, only the households can store the water for their use. Other than that, no freshwater is supplied. In other words, by this measure government do have control over the supply of water, but they do not have it over the usage of water by individuals .

Probing ahead, some people believe that they should have a supply of water no matter what. Adding to this, I think when people have an unlimited supply, they tend to ignore its importance. We all have witnessed running taps when not in use, water pipes being used for cleaning when the bucket can be used. Anyone out there should keep in mind the importance of the things we have in hand and should make choices thinking about saving them for our future. The running taps and the cleaning activities happen when the supply of water is on from the government .

I will pen down by saying that none of the facts is wrong. I stand in favour of educating people about different alternatives and ways to use water to fulfil their needs and on the same hand to save it for future use. As we know, it is an undeniable fact that the water level is decreasing and it’s our responsibility to stand with the government and give our best contribution. We all just can not sit at home and blame the officials for having it; it’s we who are making it happen in our day to day lives, and now is the time to take precautionary measures to survive in the future.
