Overall, The United States won the maximum number of Gold and Silver medals as Russia won the most bronze medals. America topped the medal tally with a maximum number of medals as Hungary scored only 17 medals and was least no medals in the top 10 nations.
The total number of medals won by the United States of America was 104 in the various games organised in the London Olympics. The USA medal tally consists of 46 Gold, 29 Silver and the same amount of bronze medals, respectively. The second position was achieved by the Republic of China with a total of 88 medals. When compared to the United States, it is eight fewer gold medals, 2 and 5 medals decreased in silver and bronze, respectively.
