Sample Answer of Talk about a time when you had to learn a new language

This happened some years back when I graduated from the university. In my country, there is a mandatory one-year youth service to the nation for every graduate from the higher institution where one would be posted to another region of the nation. Meanwhile, the regions in my country speak different languages.

I was posted to the Hausa-speaking part of the country where you hardly see anyone who speaks my language and English Language. I was given a job as a science teacher while I intended to teach the respiratory system. I felt horrible and because of the communication barrier. That single occurrence led me to go on compulsory two months of Hausa language learning which I eventually could speak averagely before I left the zone.
