Sample Answer of Describe a Difficult Decision that You Once Made
I will like to talk about a difficult decision I made in 2013 after completing my senior high school. Since childhood, I have dreamed that I want to be a nurse, so I bought nursing training forms immediately. Our results were in, and I was called for an interview at my preferred nursing school and was lucky to be admitted.
I called my parents and gave them the news that they had been granted admission. I was expecting them to be happy, but to my surprise, my parents responded, as you are not going to continue your education because they are giving the money to my younger brother to travel outside.
So I should forget about the school. I cried my eyes out, but still, they refused to help me. But since I have decided to further my education, a plan came into my mind that works for some time and start the school the following year but first have to go to the school principal and plead for that chance.
I went to the school principal the following day, and I explained everything and pleaded with her if is possible for me to start school the next year; she felt my pain and accepted my proposal. So I wrote an application to one restaurant around my place, and I started working on it the next month.
I worked very hard so was able to save enough money from it. So in the following academic year, I started school while am working. And the principal, too, was supporting me with handbooks. I did not take it easy at all, but because I have determined to be a nurse, was focused on God being good, completed the school and did my national service from there was permanently posted. And now I have achieved my dream because of the decision I made.
