The above pie chart represents the percentage of food budget spent on restaurant and home cooking while the graph demonstrates the number of meals eaten by fast-food restaurants and sit-down restaurants from the year 1970 to 2000. over the period of time percentage of the food budget and the number of meals eaten in fast-food restaurants has been increased while the percentage of the food budget spent on restaurant meals has been reduced.

In 1970, the percentage of food budget spent on the restaurant was highest peaks at 90% then it decreased 50% in 2000 while meals eaten at the sit-down restaurant are lowest in 1970 at 20 then it was amplified to 80 in 2000. Both meals eaten at fast food and sit-down restaurant are constant in the year 1970, then both are accelerated.

Over the year, both home cooking and the number of meals eaten at the restaurant are increased rapidly while the percentage of the food budget spent on restaurant meals has fallen.
