Sample Answer of Talk about a Line that You Remember from a Poem or Song

Well, as is ever said, that poem is the best word in the best order. I love to read as well as recite poems in order to remove my monotony and feel relaxed. So, here I would like to speak about a line of a poem, which is very influential. Shall we together breathe and ride, so one day more am I defied?

These lines are taken from The Last ride together poem, and Robert Browning wrote it. I must say that it’s the best dramatic monologue of Robert Browning, who had been a great optimistic poet. I got to know about this poem when I was in the concluding year of my graduation.

My teacher read it, and I was greatly inspired by the determination of a rejected lover, who made earnest requests to his beloved to accept him. But his beloved was going to marry another person, and at that time, the lover expressed his desire to go with him on the last ride, and the lover hoped for this ride never-ending. I like such poems because these poems tell us that one must be optimistic in the face of difficulties and should not lose hope as the lover didn’t lose hope to meet her, and his request was guaranteed. Thus, such kinds of poems have an everlasting effect on my mind.
