Some People Consider Computers to Be More of A Hindrance than A Help

Some people consider computers to be more of a hindrance than a help. Others believe that they have greatly increased human potential. How could computers be considered a hindrance? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience.

Some populations believe that the invention of computers helps mankind to increase their potential, but some believe this is an obstacle in their life instead of help. In my perspective, computers make ease the life of humans, and this essay will further elaborate on how it happens with the relevant examples.

In this 21st century, people are well equipped with gadgets which helps them to perform their work smoother, and out of this, the biggest invention was computers. Nowadays, we see computers everywhere, such as in multinational companies, factories, showrooms, educational institutions and even at home for personal use. This happened only because a single computer is able to perform various tasks at a time which humans are unable to do, so hence the requirement of this is increasing day by day in every sector, which helps them to increase their output with low cost.

Furthermore, the computer is not only a machine. It’s the first copy of humans. It can perform any task whatever a human can do and even also what human can’t do, and it now helps mankind to record their data in a symmetric way instead of using pen and paper, and this also saves the forests from deforestation. For example, currently, I am working in a call centre, and I use MS-excel to keep records and contact details of customers instead of using traditional methods such as maintaining a journal, moreover nowadays it is easy to fill any kind of form via online which helps to save the time of person from going somewhere by a person.

All in all, the computer is not a barrier in human life; instead, it’s a substitute for manpower who can perform quick and accurate than a normal human.
