Many People Leave Their Home Country and Go to Other Countries to Live and Work

Many people leave their home country and go to other countries to live and work. Why do you think it is happening? Do the advantages of this trend outweigh its disadvantages?

In the rapidly developing world, a large number of people are migrating to other nations for better job prospects. Higher remuneration packages and better lifestyles could be blamed for the mass exodus of individuals overseas. This essay will discuss why many people are living in foreign lands before going on to argue that the downsides of this surpass the merits.

It is an undeniable fact that a large number of people are moving abroad in search of better employment opportunities that offer fat paychecks and improved lifestyles. The specialized labor force is in demand in foreign lands, and attractive perks are on offer for anyone wanting to relocate. For instance, Zimbabwe has suffered brain drain from the last decade with a huge number of qualified personnel living for the United Kingdom to seek greener pastures. This trend continues to take dominance in most developing nations as First World regions continue to attract an enormous amount of experts to their countries.

Poorer nations have indeed lost a great deal of specialized workforce, which has resulted in deterioration to many aspects of the economy as a lot of funds are spent training new labor than in production. This can be seen when demand for products outweighs production because of understaffing. As a result, organizations may resort to outsourcing labor or training new employees to fit demand; hence if companies do not meet efficient production, the economy slows down.

In conclusion, moving abroad for attractive job perks may be seen by many individuals as positives, but in my opinion, nations suffer at large as economies continue to severely slow down.
