In the Last Decades, There Has Been a Great Increase in the Number and Variety of Online Courses

In the last decades, there has been a great increase in the number and variety of online courses available to adults. This has been welcomed as a great opportunity by many students. However, other students see these courses as less effective than classroom teaching. What are the advantages and disadvantages of studying an online course?

From the last ten years to today, there has been a large increase in the variety of online courses available online for students. The online courses are very beneficial for students, whereas some students claim that these online courses are not effective compared to physical classroom training. It inquired, I suggest that the disadvantages are more than advantages of online courses. My inclination with relative justification is discussed in the ensuing paragraphs.

Discussing the advantages, the primary advantage is that the student can learn whenever and wherever. Nowadays, students have a difficult time schedule, so that online courses are helpful when they do have not much time to visit the classroom for training. For example, due to corona, my sister stays at home and cover up many subjects by just using online courses by her’s teachers. Moreover, students can learn the courses free or at some discounts also. The reason is that most courses are freely available online, and some courses are discounted so that students can afford the education. Nowadays, students prefer online courses to classroom learning because students should learn from their favourite college. For instance, last year, one of my friends wanted to learn from MIT college, but the location of the college is in the USA. So, my friend learned that course online and enjoyed dreaming of learning from their own favourite college. Thus, these are the advantages of learning online courses.

On the other hand, online learning courses have disadvantages too. The primary disadvantage is that the online courses require a suitable internet connection. To elaborate, students can learn online courses when they have a laptop or desktop with a suitable high-speed connection. Sometimes internet issues affect on learning subject. The reason is that they left some topic when they lose the connection of internet. Furthermore, the students can not learn the perfect practical practice. By this, I mean to say that people can learn a coding subject online if students face an error on the computer, then how students get help from a teacher or how professor assist students in solving errors. Another disadvantage is that the student can not explore the environment of the classroom. In the classroom, students help each other learn something new which they do not know before and also they can improve the social skills which they can not gate from online studies. Thus, these are the disadvantages of learning online courses.

In conclusion, education learners get many opportunities from learning online courses. However, students could not get some other skills, and some students believe that online studies are not effective as compared to classroom studies. Students can learn anytime and anywhere and afford the online classes, whereas students can not explore the environment of the college or school and can not easily professor assist students.
