The bar chart illustrates the worldwide sale of game software, CDs and DVD or video from 2000 to 2003 in billion dollars.
Overall, sales for the years were almost similar. However, 2003 had the biggest sales. CDs were the most purchased, while game software was the least purchased.
The sale of CDs in 2000 was at a highest of about 35 billion dollars which signified the highest sales across the board. Although there was a slight depreciation each year, it still stayed on top with about 32 billion dollars in 2003.
DVD or video sales had a constant growth throughout the time of the survey, starting from about 18 billion dollars in 2000. It peaked at about 30 billion dollars in 2003. Game software had a similar trend to that of DVD or video but in fewer numbers. At about 12 billion dollars in the initial year, game software managed a constantly rise in sales of about 2 billion dollars per year over the period before reaching its prime of about 18 billion dollars in 2003
