Some People think that public health within a country can be Improved by Government making laws regarding Nutritious food. Others, however, think that health is a matter of personal choice and responsibility. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Many schools of thought say that public health in a country can be achieved positive results if government enact laws towards nutritious food. At the same time, some say that healthy living is individualized. In recent times, good nutrition has become a difficult issue for many. But I think nutritious meals promote health and reduce morbidity and mortality. And if the government implements some laws, it will be beneficial to individuals, the community and the world at large.
Many people have survived different elements through diet. For instance, a diabetic patient who sincerely strikes to the advice of his health team like Doctor, Nurses and Dietician definitely has lots of benefits. It results in healthy living and a prolonged life span. Secondly, eating a healthy and balanced diet or food in good proportion boost our immunity. Therefore, the mortality rate decreases and no room for opportunistic infections.
Thus, once people are healthily educated on the merit of good nutrition, I believe the society will have many aged people, and the life span of every individual will increase. Secondly, if the government makes policy that governs nutrition, I think family and community even the whole world will have a good effect. For instance, production standard will be set up for companies before it gets to consumers. Consequently, many products have sent people to their early graves. But if standards have been set, it will minimize morbidity and mortality.
In conclusion, intake of proper nutrition has much positive effect on human development. It is also right for the government to monitor food production before it reaches the grass root.
