Sample Answer of Describe an Experience You Had as a Member of a Team
Many times, people have to perform as a member of a team or act as a leader. Similarly happened with me, when in the bygone days, I was doing my graduation. At that time, it was decided to present views on a project on Honour Killing. So one of my class teachers divided the whole class into three groups. I was in the red group, and the teacher randomly selected other students, and so in each team, we were 10 members. But the project was a new one for us. We knew nothing about it; but, the deadline was very near. So we had to complete within the time then we all three friends made a plan, and at that time, I acted as a leader and assigned work to each member of a team.
Other members made questionnaires, and I prepared for telephonic interviews. I also suggested my friends do the same, but they were reluctant due to fear of public speaking. So at that time, they visited in person, and I made calls to people to know about their responses, and we were happy to collect double of the data which was offered to us initially; and, then, it was time to present the project. My teacher was elated to get a heavy response from the community people, and simultaneously, we also shared the problems that we had during data collection. We got a chance to talk to community people; otherwise, we didn’t get a chance to talk to them. So really, it broadens the horizon of my knowledge. All in all, it was a memorable experience.
