Without capital punishment (the death penalty), our lives are less secure, and crimes of violence increase. Capital punishment is essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
Capital punishment is a matter of debate in this era for many civilians. The views of people are divided into two. The majority of society believed that to stay safe and protected, and wrongdoers must be imposed the death sentence. I completely agree with this point of view.
There are various reasons why extreme penalties must be essential. Firstly, it deters criminals from committing serious crimes. Without punishment, some criminals would continue to commit crimes. Secondly, without penalty, retribution would not be provided, and it will not be justifiable for victims’ friends and family. At last, sentenced to death would have zero percent chance of escape.
Apart from this, it is a quick, painless, and humane process and also appeases victims’ families. Moreover, it is a cheaper solution than to keep criminals in lifelong jail, and it will also be a risk to the other jailers who had not to cause vigours crimes.
Overall, corporeal punishment ought to be in a lawsuit to keep the injustice of citizens of the nation and to also keep the nation crime-free. With this, however, it will not fully prevent crimes, but it will decrease crime rates resulting in a safer nation for the present as well as for future generations.
