Tourism today creates a variety of problems, such as pollution due to flights, traffic congestion and water pollution. Do you think that governments should impose extra taxes on flights or accommodation to restrict today’s tourism industry? Globally, travelling has become a problem because of the danger it poses on lives like CO2 and fumes aeroplane and cars discharge on-air and aqua. Government has many parts to play by increasing charges in order to cartel risk which they impose on humans and environs.
On the one hand, there are a number of merits in tourists. Travelling increases individual learning and a sense of belonging in human development. For example, some people, after tourism they learnt a change in character in terms of human relations. Because they have mixed with different races, then modify their attitude and some motivation which led to amend in their lives. This results in the accommodation of any personalities.
On the other hand, air and water pollution have seriously endangered live and the environment, which the government needs to hasten their solution. Especially CO2 from cars and planes which pollutes the environment and it’s on the higher side since travelling escalates because many immigrate to a safer part of the world. Government should increase the taxes and visa prices so to decrease the rate of travellers. For instance, during a covid-19 pandemic, Ebola and SARS travelling ban was so strictly then results from dropping sharply in travelling and minimize pollutants.
In conclusion, travelling upgrades learning and bring about modifications in attitude. But in as much as it poses a danger to lives and surroundings due to fumes aeroplane and cars discharge but it creates many changes.
