The animal your neighbours keep in their garden has brought you serious problems. You think they must do something to prevent causing further trouble to you.
Write a letter to your neighbours. In your letter:
- Tell them who you are.
- Explain what the problem is.
- Suggest what they should do to settle the problem.
Dear Mr and Mrs Jameson,
Hope you are doing well.
My name is Harry Anderson and I am your neighbour. I live in house number 234 across the street for the last 3 years.
I am really fond of golden retrievers and love both your dogs. But since the last few days, both the dogs have been barking a lot at night. I am an early bird and goes to swimming classes at 6 am every day. However, due to the excessive barking of golden retrievers late in the night, my sleep is hampered and causes trouble waking up early in the morning. Also, my wife is working on a project for which she has to work till midnight. Due to increased disturbance caused by dogs, she is not able to concentrate on her project work which decreases her productivity at the work level.
Since animals can’t speak for themselves when in trouble, therefore, I am requesting you to please visit a Veterinary and get your dogs checked by a doctor. The dogs might be facing some health issues due to which they bark. In addition to that, if you could shift your dogs to the backyard of your home so that there is less noise in the street and people living around us will be less troubled.
I hope you will consider my request and will take appropriate action against it.
