Sample Answer of Talk about a Long Bike, Motorbike, or Car Trip that You Would like to Take
Today, l am going to narrate events of a trip that I took last year before I talk about the one I am going to have in two months’ time. So, last year, I decided (with my friends)to go for a shopping spree, as we were preparing for Christmas to any one country in Southern Africa, and Zambia was top of the list. So we hired an elegant 4×4 Hilux, four-wheel drive, double-door cab. At least the truck was going to accommodate all our groceries, and they were all going to be secure.
On the contrary, despite spending a lot on the Toyota Hilux, I am afraid to say, It didn’t prove to be the most pleasant of my journies as I hoped, l bet it was because of the multitude of potholes we met along the way, especially on the last 100 km before we got to the border with Zambia. The ten-hour drive proved to be hell for my friends and me because before we even began window shopping, our legs were swollen and sore; thus, we needed to refresh before we could enjoy our shopping expedition.
However, that was the only time we got to enjoy a spa treatment at one Zambian five-star hotel. This made me forget the reason we had traveled, as we ended celebrating like teenage girls. The next trip will be in December, and plans are already underway; and we hope to travel in a more spacious, luxurious vehicle so we don’t get swollen feet before spending. Actually, l have been surfing the net for the best automobiles that can take us on a 10 to 15-hour drive.
I hope this time we will be going to South Africa, and it’s an all-expenses-paid trip, which has really made our lives easier, and everyone is raring to go as we have taken our time in planning and making sure we get time to relax in an upmarket hotel before we go out to shop.
Follow-ups Talk about a Long Bike, Motorbike, or Car Trip that You Would like to Take.
Question 1:- Do people in your country often travel by bike?
Answer – Nowadays, bikes have reduced in popularity, and the only people I get to see using them are people who do environmental work, especially in the countryside, like land extension officers; l think for many people in my country, bikes are not on the top of their bucket list, and they really cost a fortune these days.
Question 2:- Which is more convenient, bicycle or a car?
Answer – For me personally l would opt for a car if traveling on long journeys, but a bicycle would become handy when moving from point A to B in my place of locality, because you serve on fuel, and benefit as well from the exercise., besides you also get to reduce your carbon footprint. So the benefits of using a bicycle, I believe, far outweigh those of using a car except when traveling over long distances.
Question 3:- Do you think that children should learn the skills of riding from an early age?
Answer – Definitely, yes, it’s quite a notable achievement when a child acquires skills which will benefit them as an individual and even the country at large. As l have mentioned, through riding, a child also benefits from the physical training, and they learn to cut down on their carbon footprint at a tender age and not rely on cars which increases carbon emissions.
Question 4:- Do you think cycling is a good way to exercise?
Answer – It is definitely a good way, firstly because you do not pay a physical fitness trainer to take you through the routines. Secondly, l think almost all muscles are involved at once during riding, which means you train your mind to be alert, increase cardiovascular competency and altogether burn extra cholesterol. Finally, the whole body goes through intense training as you cycle and push the bicycle for better coordination.
