Sample Answer of Some People Think that A Sense of Competition in Children Should Be Encouraged

It is claimed by some individuals that children should be motivated to compete, while others believe that learning the principle of cooperation will mould them into valuable adults. Indeed, urging children to pursue their dreams through competition is crucial to success, but l believe working as a team motivates an individual to discover exceptional and inherent strengths.

On the one hand, it is notable for every parent to advise their children to accomplish a higher status through competing as this fosters a sense to shoulder on and triumph over others despite the tough race. Not only will they strive to be the best, but they will run the extra mile to unleash the hidden capabilities. To add to that, children that are brought up in a society where winning is the norm always envy winners and loathes losers. Henceforth, they are compelled to thrive in the fiercely competitive world that we live In to be successful.

On the other hand, group work is vital in developing character, building effective communication skills, and strengthening problem-solving abilities, among many others. It nurtures an individual to maintain excellent interpersonal relationships, achieve the finer details of knowledge through exchanging ideas with others, and above all, a child learns that every person has got different unique abilities. As such, by learning to be part of a team at a tender age, the child will not have problems later on in adulthood when he joins the modern employment arena where employees come from different walks of life. Accordingly, children should strive to become better adults through competition and learning other helpful skills which can be obtained by working together as a team.

In conclusion, competition and teamwork together work best in shaping a child into a productive adult. I strongly believe that both principles should be inculcated in the young ones to achieve an effective future generation.
