Some people believe that everyone has a right to have access to university education and that governments should make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
The topic is whether governments should be providing free cost University education for all individuals irrespective of their financial background is something to be applauded or not. The right to education is every citizen’s fundamental right and education being provided by the government for free is actually a fascinating idea, and I would like to strongly support it.
First of all, this move of the government can eradicate illiteracy and also give a helping hand to people to grade up their educational and living standards, who could not afford the well-structured university education. This initiative of our authorities can enlighten so many lives paving the way for their great careers.
Secondly, this wonderful idea can ultimately help the nation by bringing to light the meritorious brains who might stop their education because of their poor financial background if the free education policy is not implemented. With this initiative, the government can motivate everyone to apply for higher education in the universities and can give them the freedom to take part in the course of their interest and excel in that particular stream.
Ironically, there are few people who feel this plan of government is not a good one as this might lead to a reduction in the value and standard of university education. As all the people will be given access to free education, they feel there are high chances of losing the decorum of a university degree certificate.
Whatever may be the reason, providing free education to all the individuals who have eligible educational reports can never become a regretful decision in future as giving access to knowledge is always an appreciable move.
