Good morals and ethics are the most important part of our life. Few believe that parents are the finest teachers to a child, whereas others believe that professional teachers play a vital role. I completely agree with the above notion that parents are an institute in themselves.
To embark upon, parents are the first teachers to a child. They not only teach a child every basic of life but also make them understand the meaning of the word teacher itself. In addition, parents teach a child how to talk, communicate and understand their native language, which helps them in gaining the basic morals of life. For example, parents stand with their children in every aspect of their life and guide them through the good and bad situations while they are unaware of the consequences.
Children look up to their parents as role models for themselves and follow in their footsteps. They are the inspiration for every child and the desire to grow up like their role models. Moreover, there are many basic etiquettes of life that can’t be taught through academic books. Teachers can only enhance a child professionally, but character and humanity can only be taught or learnt through parents and not studying maths, science or social. For instance, there are many children whose parents can’t afford to educate them. But this has not affected the upbringing of the child because he has been taught and is enriched with every basic moral and foundation of humanity.
To recapitulate, Parents are the unpaid teachers to every child who teaches them the values of life which helps them in growing and socialising. It has been said that “family is the university and parents are the teachers”. I totally agree with this statement as they give us the first and foremost teachings and high-quality lessons of our life.
