Question 1:- What is your favourite leisure activity?
Answer:- I spend most of my free time shopping along with my friends, although due to the nature of my work, I have limited work-free time, so I tend to spend it on stocking my house with things I will need for the upcoming week.
Question 2:- What did you enjoy doing in your free time as a child?
Answer:- When I was a child, though, I can’t remember vividly how it went, but according to my siblings, they told me that I love playing with a particular doll I made myself anytime I come back from school, however, from the time I could remember I love writing novels which I got the inspiration from a popular TV series then called tales by moonlight.
Question 3:- Do you prefer to spend your free time with other people or alone?
Answer:- Like I said earlier, at a younger age, I preferred being alone and doing what I loved, which was book writing, however now that I am a grown-up, I no longer write; instead, I shop in the company of my friends, so, I love spending my leisure time with my friends.
Question 4:- What is a common leisure activity in your country?
Answer:- In my nation, most free times are at weekends and public holidays; because I am a lover of shopping, I see a lot of people families having fun in the shopping malls and eateries around the vicinity. Children who usually have a hand full of time to spend during school holidays are also sited playing in various amusement parks, then the gentlemen and ladies are spotted in different clubs having good times.
Question 5:- Do most people in your country get two days off a week?
Answer:- In Nigeria, where I come from, where 30% are civil or public servants, 60% are traders and the rest private practitioner, it could be said that not all enjoy the 2days weekly off duties, it is mostly for the public servants, a trader will not leave his or shop for two days for rest instead they will reserve the leisure days for Sundays then the private practitioners may decide to or not have a break, so I can say from explanation so far that majority of people does not have a break in work.
Question 6:- Do you think leisure time is important?
Answer:- In my opinion, for the well being of our mental health, the advantage of having a break at work is immeasurable; it makes one recuperate from stress and get well equipped physically, mentally and emotionally to face the next day’s hustle.
