Happiness Is Considered Very Important in Life

Happiness Is Considered Very Important in Life (2) (1)

Happiness is considered very important in life. Why is it difficult to define? What factors are important in achieving happiness? You should give reasons for your answer using your own ideas and experience.

In this technology-driven world majority of people would like to be happy in their lives. At the same time, the personal nature of happiness is difficult to describe because it is a sense of feeling which relatable to an individual experience. Apart from that, there do seem to be some common needs that we all share regarding experiencing it achieving happiness.

To embark with, happiness is difficult to narrate precisely because it is a kind of emotion that only spark individually and that consist of various actions and dimensions. It is more of like a subjective well being that will focus on an individual’s overall personal feeling at that time. So it depends on each person, and the experience of being in happiness varies from one to another. Moreover, nobody can fully understand and experience another person’s feelings; thus the cheerfulness is only subjected to oneself. In my experience, I couldn’t even understand what fuelled my 3year old daughter to always make her happy. To illustrate, some people derive a sense of satisfaction when the salary is credited whereas for others family is which bring happiness in them.

While perceptions of happiness might vary from one another and there are some basic preconditions that are there to achieve it. Firstly satisfaction of the basic needs is considered as the first set of preconditions. A person who does not have a place to live and enough food to eat, it is really hard for him to be happy. Additionally, the greatest joy in life is usually found in shared experiences with family and friends, and it is rare to find a person who is content to live in complete isolation. Furthermore, key factors could be individual freedom and a sense of purpose in life. For example, the satisfaction of basic survival needs will enhance the sense of ecstasy in people.

In conclusion, happiness is difficult to express because it is particular to each individual, but I believe that our basic needs for shelter, food and company need to be fulfilled before we can experience it.
