Sample Answer of Describe a Time when You Told Your Friend an Important Truth

It was our final year in secondary school when I got the news of my best who impregnated her girlfriend. Indeed, it was a rude shock because we were too young for such a case, even when we were devoted Christians. His name is Collins Ribs, we have been good friends right from when we were five years old. We grew together in a village in the southwest part of my country. He was a bit brilliant than I did but not as calm as I did. We were preparing for our last exam from secondary school when I heard what seemed to be like a rumour from two students that Collins impregnated one of our classmates. I couldn’t hold my tension because of the gravity of such a thing, even when we were still young.

Unfortunately, it has become the talk of the town, and his parent had got the information already while I was still in the dark of it. The best I could do was to locate his hideout and make him understand the damage the unholy act could cause his career. I told him that it was a great disappointment not only to me but to his parents and our church as a whole because we were devoted Christians. I told him that I would disconnect our friendship for a period of one year. Indeed, Ribs was sobered, and I could read the disappointment and loneliness all over her face because. He was full of tears. I didn’t have any option other than to draw him closer while I joined him in weeping too. He late reacted by asking me that “It has happened, it has happened, what did I think I can do” To be candid, everybody in the street and the school liked us and admired our kind of friendship. Our academic performance, humility and commitment as devoted Christians were worth emulation. It was for those reasons that I needed to tell him the bitter truth.

Follow-ups Described a Time when You Told Your Friend an Important Truth.

Question 1.Do you think we should tell the truth at all times?

Answer:- Truth according to the people of my country, it is hard to say the truth all the time, but in my own opinion, the best policy as an upright man is to tell the truth in every situation because once you are known as a person who doesn’t lie people can entrust you with anything. Meanwhile, he or she who lies always ends up being a thief.

Question 2.How do you know when others are telling the truth?

Answer:- Hmmm….. this is a bit hard to analyze, but I will definitely try.
There are situations when one is nervous whenever he or she talks. However, it is easy to identify when some people are telling the truth. Such a person will be calm as he or she talks. Such a person will look straight to your face with direct eyes contact without mincing words, but the reverse is the case when someone is lying to you.

Question 3.Do you think it is important to win the game or follow the rules?

Answer:- Well, this does not follow in every situation.
A decent person will surely prefer to lose the game than to follow an unjustified rule. They believe that either one loses or wins; life will unquestionably continue. Like I said above, this may not be possible in all situations. For example, if someone wants to bid for a big contract and one of the shorts cut is to bribe some insider. Some people will prefer to do that to withdraw from the bidding.

Question 4.Sometimes, people should tell lies. Do you agree?

Answer:- Hmmm, as I said above, at every time, people should tell the truth, you should be known for good things, not the other way round because you never can tell when they may want to test your uprightness knowing fully well that you always hide the truth. An attempt to lie in such a situation is an attempt to lose your integrity. That is why I disagree that one should tell a lie once in a while.
